Ozark Fall FarmFest
October 5, 6 & 7, 2012
The Ozarks' biggest agricultural event is the Ozark Fall Farmfest. Over the past 30 years, the Farmfest has grown into one of the best farm and ranch trade shows in the country. Co-sponsored by the Ozark Empire Fair and Farm Talk Newspaper, over 45,000 farm and ranch folks come to the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Mo., each year to see more than 750 farm-related exhibits and more than 500 head of registered livestock. The Farmfest is held the first Friday, Saturday, & Sunday of October and has become the place for farmers and ranchers to shop for a wide variety of agricultural equipment. With a top-flight facility, the Farmfest offers inside and outside booth spaces for a wide range of products. The event also includes a Rural Living Area with products for the home. The Farmfest's unique live animal exhibits are dominated by some of the area's finest purebred cattle but there are also several breeds of horses, goats, sheep, swine and exotic species on display. The 2012 Ozark Fall Farmfest will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 5, 6 & 7.
Family Harvest Fest
Every year we hold a family harvest festival for family and close friends to celebrate the blessing of the abundant harvest the Lord has given us through the growing season and also the celebration of another year with our special needs granddaughter, who has Rett Syndrome. We have a great time with many different activities but always conclude with a bonfire and s'mores! For more information on Rett Syndrome, please visit www.rettsyndrome.org.
